Zusammenfassung:An image forming apparatus (100) includes a heating device (9), a rotator (2, 11, 39), and a blade (77, 69, 38). The heating device (9) includes a heater (22) extending in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of a recording medium. The heater (22) includes a heat generator (60) and generates a larger heat amount at one end than at a center. The blade (77, 69, 38) includes a rubbing portion (77a, 69a) extending in the direction. Both ends of the rubbing portion face both ends of the heater (22). The rotator (2, 11, 39) and the blade (77, 69, 38) are configured such that a friction force between the rotator (2, 11, 39) and one end of the rubbing portion (77a, 69a) is smaller than a friction force between the rotator (2, 11, 39) and the center of the rubbing portion (77a, 69a) in the direction.
