Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a tyre for vehicles comprising a component, preferably a tread band obtained by vulcanisation of a new elastomeric composition. Said elastomeric composition comprises, among other things, at least one particular modified diene elastomeric polymer (A1) and at least one special sulfurized silanized silica (B) having a surface area (BET) lower than 190 m2/g measured according to ISO 18852. The new elastomeric composition of the invention, when incorporated into the tread, imparts to the tyres better wet performance and at the same time a high resistance to wear and tear.
