Zusammenfassung:An axle clamping arrangement (100) is adapted to secure an axle body (10) to a trailing arm (1) in an air sprung wheel axle suspension for a vehicle. The axle clamping arrangement (100) comprises a first clamping member (7), a second clamping member (9) and a tensioning link (15) associated with the first clamping member (7) and the second clamping member (9). The tensioning link (15) comprises at least one tensioning rod (16). The axle clamping arrangement (100) further comprises an extension mechanism which is adapted to increase the distance between the first clamping member (7) and the second clamping member (9) at the location of the tensioning link (15) to cause a predetermined extension of the tensioning rod (16), thereby providing the tensioning rod (16) with a pretension for providing the clamping force for the axle clamping arrangement (100) to secure the axle body (10) to the trailing arm (1).
