Zusammenfassung:	Sample monitoring beads for addition to flow cytometry fluid samples to monitor fluid sample integrity during flow cytometry evaluation include fluorescently-labeled hydrogel that is size-responsive to changes in one or more properties of a fluid sample. An intensity of a fluorescent emission from the sample monitoring beads changes with changes in size of the fluorescently-labeled hydrogel. During flow cytometry, detected fluorescent emission from the sample monitoring beads is compared to reference criteria to evaluate for problems with fluid sample integrity, which may result from chemical changes to fluid samples over extended storage periods during a high throughput, automated flow cytometry screening operation.
