The liquid storing container (50) includes a liquid absorber (70) that absorbs liquid, a casing (50A) that houses the liquid absorber (70), a discharge portion (56) that discharges liquid down in a direction of gravitational force into the casing (50A), and an introduction space (50B) into which the liquid from the discharge portion (56) is introduced. The liquid storing container (50) further includes a liquid divider (60) provided inside the introduction space (50B) to divide the liquid discharged from the discharge portion (56).
