CARTRIDGE FOR A VAPORIZER DEVICE

The invention relates to a vaporizer cartridge (1320) comprising a cartridge housing and a reservoir (1340) configured to contain a liquid vaporizable material, the reservoir being partially defined by at least one wall of the cartridge housing. The reservoir comprises a storage chamber (1342), and an overflow volume (1344). The vaporizer cartridge further comprises a collector (1313) disposed in the overflow volume. The collector comprises a secondary passageway (1384) configured to retain a volume of the liquid and a microfluidic gate disposed at one end of the secondary passageway and configured to control flow of the liquid vaporizable material between the second passageway and the storage chamber. The vaporizer cartridge also comprises a wicking element (1362) in fluid communication with the reservoir, the wicking element configured to draw the liquid vaporizable material from the storage chamber; and a heating element (1350) configured to heat the wicking element to convert at least some of the liquid vaporizable material drawn from the storage chamber to a gaseous state.
