Zusammenfassung:	Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for distance-based HARQ feedback transmission. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes monitoring for a data transmission from another UE, receiving an indication of a first zone identifier (ID), determining a nearest zone to the UE of multiple zones, wherein the multiple zones are determined based at least in part on the indication of the first zone ID, determining a distance between the UE and the other UE based on the first zone ID, wherein the determined distance comprises a distance between the UE and the nearest zone, and transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for the data transmission based at least on the distance.
