COMMON-MODE CHOKE

The invention relates to a common-mode choke (1). The common-mode choke (1) has a toroidal core (2) which is in particular magnetically permeable and is in particular annular. The common-mode choke (1) also has at least one coil and at least one additional coil. The coil and the additional coil are each arranged in the region of the toroidal core (2) in such a way that a magnetic flux permeating the coils can encompass the toroidal core (2). According to the invention, the toroidal core (2) surrounds an opening (20) which is in particular cylindrical. The coils comprise, for each coil winding, at least one or only one electric inner conductor (7, 8), in particular a bus bar. The inner conductor (7, 8) is arranged in the opening (20), the coil winding having an outer conductor (5, 6) which is electrically connected to the inner conductor (7, 8). The outer conductor (5, 6) forms a cylindrical shell portion, in particular a cylindrical shell segment. The outer conductor (5, 6) is designed to surround a peripheral portion of the toroidal core (2).
