Zusammenfassung:	To provide a gas filling apparatus with high handleability and safety.Said gas filling apparatus comprising a filling nozzle (32) at an end of a filling hose and an attachment sensor (32b) configured to detect whether the filling nozzle (32) is attached to a filling port (51) of an in-vehicle tank and to output a detection signal when the filling nozzle (32) is attached to the filling port (51) of the in-vehicle tank, wherein a concave portion (32e) of the filling nozzle (32) is formed so that an end portion (51b) of the filling port (51) is insertable into the concave portion (32e) of the filling nozzle (32), and wherein the attachment sensor (32b) is configured to detect an attachment of the filling nozzle (32) to the filling port (51) when the end portion (51b) of the filling port (51) is inserted into the concave portion (32e) of the filling nozzle (32).
