| Zusammenfassung: | A secondary battery includes an electrode body configured such that a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate are stacked on each other with a separator being interposed therebetween, an exterior body having an opening and housing the electrode body, a sealing plate sealing the opening, and an external terminal attached to the sealing plate. Tabs provided at the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate are electrically connected to the external terminal via a current collector arranged between the electrode body and the sealing plate. The current collector has a first connection portion connected to the tabs and a second connection portion with a fuse portion. The fuse portion is a portion formed with the minimum sectional area perpendicular to a current direction in a current path from the tab to the external terminal such that the fuse portion is fused when overcurrent flows in the current path. A portion of the fuse portion facing the electrode body is covered with a fuse portion insulating member made of a material whose melting point is 200°C or higher. |
