Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a self-adjusting pneumatic clutch actuator (1) for actuating a clutch of a motor vehicle, which actuator has an annular-cylindrical housing (20), open on one axial side, and an annular piston (24) arranged axially movably therein, between which structures a pressure chamber (26) is formed, and wherein the annular piston (24) is connected to a release bearing (18), which axially contacts a clutch spring (12) to adjust same from a non-actuating position into an actuating position, in which positions the clutch is closed and open, respectively, and wherein a device for compensating for a wear-related change to the actuating path for opening or closing the clutch is provided, said device having a spindle unit (2) that is freely rotatable when the clutch actuator (1) is not actuated and that is blocked when the clutch actuator (1) is actuated. In order for the clutch actuator (1) to be produced more simply and at lower cost, the spindle unit (2) consists of a plurality of individual spindles (2a, 2b, 2c) which are arranged eccentrically to the longitudinal center axis (30) of the clutch actuator (1) and circumferentially spaced from each other and which synchronously cooperate with each other to compensate for a wear-related change to the actuating path for opening or closing the clutch.
