Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a frame profile, in particular for a fire-protection frame structure (500, 500'), comprising a cover frame (1, 1') and/or a leaf frame (2, 2') of a window, a door, or a façade, said frame profile comprising a recess (16, 46, 16', 46') and two profile elements (5, 6, 30, 31) which delimit the recess (16, 46, 16', 46') with respect to the width (B1, B2) thereof. The frame profile has a flexible strip (8, 45, 8', 45', 301, 401) in the recess (5, 6, 30, 31), said strip comprising at least one insulating building material layer (402), wherein the width (BB1, BB2) of the strip (8, 45, 8' 45', 301, 401) is greater than the width (B1, B2) of the recess (16, 46, 16', 46') when aligned evenly.
