Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of wastewater containing formaldehyde. In particular, the invention relates to a process for the treatment of liquid effluents resulting from the manufacture of acrylic acid or acrolein, which is targeted at removing the formaldehyde present in these effluents. Finally, the invention relates to the use of the purified aqueous solution thus obtained in process for the production of acrylic acid by catalytic oxidation of propylene and/or propane.
