The pyranometer comprises a pyranometer housing 4; and at least one radiation sensor 2; wherein the at least one radiation sensor 2 is electrically isolated from the pyranometer housing 4 and thermally coupled to the pyranometer housing 4 by at least one supporting element 42, wherein the supporting element 42 is connected to the pyranometer housing 4 and is configured to support the at least one radiation sensor 2.
