The present invention relates to a method of making a valve housing (10) for a valve (1), where the valve housing formed of a main part (11) and a cover (12), where the first- the main part (11) is formed with an outer edge section (20) defining an inner surface and an outer surface and an opening from the externals to an inner hollow (6), where the inner surface is formed with an inner recess (23) with a first surface (22) and second surface (24) and a first contact surface (27), and where- the cover (12) comprises a fourth surface (31) and a second contact surface (33), and wherethe method comprises the steps of positioning the cover (12) inside the main part (11) such that the fourth surface (31) rests on the second surface (24) and the second contact surface (33) rests on the first contact surface (27), and where a next step is to radially compress the at least the outer part of the outer edge section (20) to a second angle where the upper and lower outer edge surfaces (30) of the cover (12) contacts the first surface (22) and second surface (24) to fix cover (12) in the position.The present invention further relates to the first (11) and second (12) parts and to the valve housing.
