Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a venting valve (2) for venting an enclosure (4). The venting valve (2) comprises a valve housing (8) comprising a valve seat (9) having a first opening (10). A displaceable member (7) is arranged longitudinally displaceable through the first opening. The displaceable member comprises a valve plug (12), engageable with the valve seat, and a discharge channel (20). The venting valve has a bi-stable annular disc (21) or a combination of a membrane (27) and at least one bi-stable element (28). The displaceable member can assume a closed position in which the valve plug is in sealing engagement with the valve seat so that there is no fluid communication between the enclosure and the discharge channel, and an open position in which the valve plug is out of engagement with the valve seat so that the enclosure is in fluid communication with the discharge channel. The displaceable member is configured to move from the closed to the open position upon application of an activation force.
