WATER-BASED GRAVURE-INK SET

The present invention relates to [1] an aqueous gravure ink set including an aqueous color ink and an aqueous medium, in which the aqueous color ink contains a color pigment, a polymer, a water-soluble organic solvent A, a surfactant and water; the aqueous medium contains an extender pigment, a polymer, a water-soluble organic solvent B having a boiling point of 100 to 260°C, a surfactant and water; a content of the extender pigment in the aqueous medium is not more than 25% by mass; and a content of the water-soluble organic solvent B in the aqueous medium is not more than 18% by mass, [2] an aqueous gravure ink, and [3] a process for producing the aqueous gravure ink including the step of compounding the aforementioned aqueous color ink and the aforementioned aqueous medium with each other. The aqueous gravure ink set and the aqueous gravure ink according to the present invention have a less burden on environments, and is excellent not only in transfer properties of ink to a printing substrate such as a resin film, etc., but also in anti-blocking properties of a printed material obtained after gravure printing upon storage of the printed material to thereby enable production of a high-definition printed material.
