description The present invention refers to a valve comprising a housing (4) with a fluid inlet (1), a fluid outlet (2), and a cavity (3) positioned between the fluid inlet (1) and the fluid outlet (2) in the housing (4). A movable element (7) is arranged in the cavity (3) and is in touching contact with the ball (6), wherein the movable element (7) is held in a first position by a biased spring (8) and a shape-memory-actuator (9), which are arranged on opposite sides of the movable element (7). The shape-memory-actuator (9) comprises a shape-memory-alloy which is activatable by applying an electric voltage resulting in deformation of the shape-memory-actuator (9) and in movement of the movable element (7), thereby exerting pressure on the ball (6) so that the ball (6) moves and deformation of the membrane (5) takes place and a fluid passage between the fluid inlet (1) and the fluid outlet (2) can be opened and closed.
