An electromotor (1) and a laundry machine are disclosed in the present application, the electromotor (1) includes a controller (2) and a controller cover (3), the controller (2) is arranged on the controller cover (3), a first end cover (111) and a second end cover (112) of the electromotor (1) are fixedly arranged on two opposite sides of a stator (12) respectively, the controller cover (3) is provided with a first mounting part (31) and a second mounting part (320) secured with a water container (4), the first end cover (111) or the stator (12) is provided with a third mounting part (1111) secured with the first mounting part (31), and the third mounting part (1111) is arranged on the the first end cover (111) or the stator (12). According to the electromotor (1) and the laundry machine provided in the present application, the first end cover (111) is provided with the third mounting part (1111) secured with the controller cover (3), or alternatively the third mounting part (1111) is directly arranged on the stator (12) to secure the third mounting part (111) with the controller cover (3), so that a structure of a housing (11) is simplified.
