Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to measuring system (1) for determining a braking torque (MB) between a fixed brake device (11) and a rotatable brake element (12), in particular a brake disc, which is to be braked, wherein the measuring system (1) has at least one piezo element (2a, 2b) and a signal-processing device (3), wherein the piezo element (2a, 2b) can be arranged in a force flux between the brake element (12) and a counter-bearing (13), which supports the brake device (11), in such a way that when a force acts on the piezo element (2a, 2b) in the direction of movement (B) of the brake element (12), a measuring signal is generated by utilizing a piezoelectric effect, in particular a shearing effect, of the piezo element (2a, 2b), and wherein the signal-processing device (3) is configured to determine (101) the braking torque (MB) with respect to the direction of movement (B) of the brake element (12) on the basis of the measuring signal (S1, S2). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method (100) for determining a braking torque.
