Zusammenfassung:	A method (800) and a system for carrying a wing panel of an aircraft are provided, the method comprising:- aligning (802) a strongback (540) over a wing panel (550);- forming (804) a vacuum attachment between an upper surface (574) of the wing panel and adjustable-length pogos (545) extending beneath the strongback; and- adjusting (806) the length of at least one of the pogos to impart forces onto the wing panel and enforce a predetermined contour (544) to the wing panel; and- further comprising advancing the wing panel (550) in a process direction (541) while the contour (544) is enforced.The system comprises:- a strongback (540) configured to extend over a transverse section of a wing panel (550);- adjustable-length pogos (545) that extend beneath the strongback; and- vacuum couplers (548) at the pogos that are configured to form a vacuum attachment to an upper surface (574) of the wing panel;wherein the strongback (540) is configured to, during advancing in a process direction, enforce a contour (544) onto the wing panel by holding each pogo (545) at a desired length.
