CT SYSTEM WITH A COLLIMATOR PLATE AND METHOD FOR FIXING A COLLIMATOR PLATE OF A CT SYSTEM

The invention relates to CT equipment and a method for fixing a collimator plate of the CT equipment. The CT apparatus includes a base structure, an additional structure, an X-ray source, an X-ray detector, and a collimator plate. The additional structure is rotatably supported at the base structure such that the additional structure can rotate about an axis of rotation relative to the base structure. The X-ray source and the X-ray detector are fixed to the additional structure in such a way that they are arranged in a stationary manner relative to one another, and the examination region is located between the X-ray source and the X-ray detector in the region of the axis of rotation, in which examination region the patient or a body part of the patient can be arranged. A collimator plate is removably disposed at the additional structure between the X-ray source and the examination region. The collimator plate itself can be detached from the additional structure.
