Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method (100) for operating a windscreen-washing system (10) of a vehicle (1), wherein the following steps are carried out: - repeatedly initiating a wiping movement of at least one wiper arm (21) on a windscreen (2) of the vehicle (1), in which movement the wiper arm (21) carries out an upwards movement (201) from a lower turning point (UWL) into an upper turning point (OWL) and a downwards movement (202) from the upper turning point (OWL) into the lower turning point (UWL); - initiating detergent output for the particular wiping movement in order to output a detergent (26) from at least one nozzle (25) of the wiper arm (21) during the upwards movement (201), wherein the detergent output has already been initiated during the downwards movement (202) in order to apply the detergent (26) to the windscreen (2) before the lower turning point (UWL) is reached.
