Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a multiple-unit rail vehicle, in particular a railway train (20), comprising two or more cars, one or more walkable gangway connection regions (22) and at least one potential equalization conductor (23). According to the invention, the rail vehicle has at least one inner train segment (IZ), which is delimited by two segment-delimiting cars (ABW1, ABW2), the inner train segment (IZ) being formed solely by a single gangway connection region (22) or comprising one or more inner cars (IW1, IW2, IW) and more than one gangway connection region (22), the segment-delimiting cars (ABW1, ABW2) being grounded at wheels such that one part (I1) of a rail return current (Ir) can flow from track rails (13), on which the rail vehicle is standing or traveling, into one of the segment-delimiting cars (ABW1, ABW2) and, as a vehicle return current (Ir), through the inner train segment (IZ) and from the other of the segment-delimiting cars (ABW1, ABW2) back into the rails (13), in parallel with another part (I2) of the rail return current (Ir), which part flows in the track rails (13), and, in the case of all walkable gangway connection regions (22) arranged in the inner train segment (IZ), an electrical potential equalization conductor (23) being arranged above each gangway connection region (22), which electrical potential equalization conductor electrically connects the cars coupled to each other by the gangway connection region (22) in question and conducts the entire vehicle return current or at least a portion of the vehicle return current (Ir) past the walkable gangway connection region above the walkable gangway connection region (22).
