Zusammenfassung:The invention concerns an optical filter system for a video endoscope, wherein the optical filter system is arranged in a distal end section of an elongate shaft and at least one electronic image sensor for receiving image light is arranged in an image plane in the distal end section, wherein the optical filter system comprises an objective lens system with a first lens, a second lens, a third lens and/or further lenses in order from an object side to receive the image light and to pass the image light toward to the image sensor, wherein an optical filter comprises a varying transmission characteristic relative to a distance from a central region of the optical filter and/or from an optical axis of the incident image light to the optical filter is optically located between the first lens and the second lens of the objective lens system, so that in case of fluorescence imaging an emission radiation is collectable by the image sensor substantially free of an excitation radiation and/or fluorescence image data and/or a visible light image data are overlayable and/or displayable. Furthermore, the invention concerns a display system and a video endoscope.
