Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a connector (300) for a patient interface system, comprising a first portion (200) adapted to removably connect to a patient interface, the first portion being formed from a relatively rigid or stiff material. The connector further comprises a plurality of vent holes (230) formed on the first portion and a flexible portion (335) adapted to flex to permit engagement and disengagement of the first portion. The flexible portion is formed from a relatively flexible material wherein the flexible portion comprises a pair of opposing buttons (320) that are configured to be inwardly flexed to allow disengagement of the connector from the patient interface. The first portion forms a skeleton over-moulded by or otherwise formed with the flexible portion.
