Zusammenfassung:A linear motor conveyor system and a method for controlling a linear motor conveyor system, the system comprising a conveyor shaft (101), at least one movable unit (102), such as an elevator car or a motor unit, an electric linear motor for moving the movable unit comprising at least one linear stator (104) extending in the conveyor shaft, and at least one mover (106) coupled to the movable unit (102) and configured to be moved along the linear stator. The linear stator (104) comprises stator poles implemented without windings, e.g. permanent magnet poles and/or ferromagnetic poles, and the mover (106) comprises power components and/or windings for interacting with the stator poles to generate propulsion force for moving the movable unit (102) along the linear stator (104).
