DIGITAL CONTROL UNIT OF A BIOPROCESS ARRANGEMENT

The present invention relates to a digital control unit of a bioprocess arrangement (2) for controlling a bioprocess, wherein the digital control unit (1) comprises a local data storage (4) and a local processor unit (5), wherein the digital control unit (1) comprises a bioprocess interface (6) for sending and receiving bioprocess control data, wherein the digital control unit (1) is configured to execute a bioprocess control routine (19) via the local processor unit (5) to control the bioprocess, wherein in the bioprocess control routine (19), the digital control unit (1) generates bioprocess data (16) from the actuator data (8) and/or the sensor data (12) and/or the user control command data (18). It is proposed that the digital control unit (1) is configured to execute a signing routine (24) via the local processor unit (5) and that in the signing routine (24), the digital control unit (1) digitally signs documentation data (23), derived from the bioprocess data 16, by generating a digital signature (26).
