Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a walking simulator (1), comprising: - an articulated mechanical foot (2), - a first movement system designed to move the articulated mechanical foot (2) in a movement combining a translational movement in a horizontal direction (41) and a rotational movement about a transverse direction, orthogonal to the horizontal direction (41), - a platform (7) having a top surface (71) designed to come into contact with the articulated mechanical foot (2), - a second movement system, designed to move the platform (7) in translation in a vertical direction (72), orthogonal to the horizontal direction (41) and to the transverse direction, the first movement system and the second movement system being designed to be controlled independently or in an interpolated manner, such that the movement of the articulated mechanical foot (2) relative to the platform (7) is similar to that of a human foot relative to the ground during a during a walking or running cycle.
