Zusammenfassung:A fuel injection assembly (100) includes a fuel injector (200) having end walls (202) spaced apart from one another and side walls (204) extending between the end walls (202). The end walls (202) and the side walls (204) collectively define a first opening (210) for passage of air. At least one fuel injection member (212) is disposed within the first opening (210) and extends axially between the end walls (202). The fuel injector (200) terminates at a radially inner surface (232). A boss (300) that is fixedly connected to the combustion liner (42) and extends radially through the cooling flow annulus (132) to a flange portion (306) positioned at the outer sleeve (44). The boss (300) defines a second opening (310) that provides for fluid communication between the fuel injector (200) and the second combustion zone (60). The radially inner surface (232) of the fuel injector (200) is sealingly connected to the flange portion (306) of the boss (300) such that the first opening (210) aligns with the second opening (310).
