An electronic device includes: a user interface configured to receive a user input associated with a usage of a hearing device; a screen; a processing unit configured to generate usage information regarding the usage of the hearing device; and a communication unit configured to provide the usage information regarding the usage of the hearing device to a server, and to receive a signal indicating a clogging of a filter of the hearing device, the signal being based on the usage information regarding the usage of the hearing device.
