Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for unwinding a material web (1), in particular a paper or card web, from a winding roll (2, 3) for a downstream machine for processing the material web (1), having a primary unwinding device (5), a secondary unwinding device (6) and an adhesive and separating device (7), wherein the primary unwinding device (5) and the secondary unwinding device (6) each have two running surfaces (11, 12) running in parallel with each other and coming into contact with corresponding counter surfaces of the rotatable outer rings (10) of the axle journal bearings (15) for moving the winding roll (2, 3) from the primary unwinding device (5) to the secondary unwinding device (6). The intention is to reduce the design complexity by the axial location of the running surfaces (12) of the primary (5) and the secondary unwinding device (6) being adjustable and the respective running surfaces (12) of the primary unwinding device (5) and the secondary unwinding device (6) being directly adjacent to one another.
