Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a blanket cylinder (6) for a printing unit (1) of a printing press for carrying at least one rubber blanket, wherein the blanket cylinder (6) has a continuous tensioning shaft (9) for clamping and tensioning a leading edge of the rubber blanket and/or a continuous tensioning shaft (9) for clamping and tensioning a trailing edge of the rubber blanket, wherein a tensioning shaft (9) for tensioning the rubber blanket is received so as to be rotatable about the rotational axis thereof, and wherein drive means are provided for the rotational drive of at least one tensioning shaft (9), wherein the drive means comprise at least one actuatable actuator (11) which is arranged in the blanket cylinder (6) and which serves for the drive of a tensioning shaft (9).
