CENTRIFUGAL FAN AND AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE

This application provides a centrifugal fan and an air conditioning apparatus. The centrifugal fan includes a top plate, a baseplate, a motor, a flow guiding cover, and a plurality of blades. A motor mounting hole is disposed at a central position of the baseplate, and the motor has a motor housing. The motor housing is mounted on the motor mounting hole and is fastened to the baseplate, and the motor at least partially extends between the baseplate and top plate. The blades are fastened between the top plate and the baseplate, and the plurality of blades are disposed around the motor. The flow guiding cover is sheathed on an outer peripheral side of the motor housing, and is detachably mounted on the baseplate. In this solution, the flow guiding cover fills a groove formed between the motor housing and the baseplate, to avoid a problem of increased resistance caused when air flows through an area between the motor housing and the baseplate due to discontinuity of contours, thereby reducing impact loss. The flow guiding cover can further play a role in guiding airflow entering and leaving the centrifugal fan, to improve aerodynamic efficiency of the centrifugal fan and reduce noise generated by the airflow.
