Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for producing a circumferential seal running surface (1) on a bearing ring of a large rolling bearing, wherein the seal running surface (1) is machined by turning in a first work step and the turned surface is subsequently given a specified surface roughness by grinding by means of an abrasive disk (2). According to the invention, in order to provide a production method for a circumferential seal running surface on a bearing ring of a large rolling bearing, which production method leads to large rolling bearings with improved sealing tightness, the abrasive disk performs an oscillating motion relative to the seal running surface (1) during the grinding, the oscillating motion covering the entire axial width of the seal running surface (1), and the oscillating motion of the abrasive disk (2) being carried out in such a way that a surface structure formed in the seal running surface (1) by the turning, by means of which surface structure escape of lubricant from the interior of the bearing is facilitated during the rotation of the bearing, is at least neutralized. |
