Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for producing a cylindrical screen device (10) with a plurality of profiled bars (12). The profiled bars (12) are inserted parallel to one another and to the cylinder axis into open-border recesses (16) that are provided on the inner face of a plurality of bar holding rings (14), each of which runs about the cylinder axis on a plane perpendicular to the cylinder axis and which are mutually spaced in the axial direction, said recesses having a shape which at least substantially complements the shape of the bases (18) of the profiled bars (12) but is still slightly larger than said bases. The inner and outer diameter of the bar holding rings (14) is steadily reduced via forces acting radially from the outside until a formfitting connection is produced between the profiled bars (12) and the recesses (16) of the bar holding rings (14), and the forces acting radially from the outside are applied by pressing jaws (20) distributed over the circumference of the bar holding rings (14), each pressing jaw being provided with multiple grooves (22) extending in the circumferential and radial direction for receiving a respective bar holding ring (14), wherein during each pressing process, only some grooves are used as pressing grooves for directly radially pressing the respective bar holding ring (14), and the other grooves (22) are solely used as guiding grooves, by means of which the respective bar holding rings (14) are prevented from being axially deflected, and/or bar holding rings (14) are used which are prefabricated with a respective wave-like outer contour (28) and which are radially pressed by forces acting radially from the outside via the wave-like outer contour (28) of the bar holding rings.
