The invention concerns a machine for preparing infused or macerated beverages (1) comprising a decanter (20) for receiving a liquid and a receiving base (2), the receiving base (2) comprising a motor (4) intended to rotate a drive shaft (3a, 3b) about an axis Δ, the decanter (20) comprising a filter basket (40) for receiving an ingredient to be infused or macerated that is rotated by the drive shaft (3a, 3b) about the axis Δ, the filter basket (40) being able to move in the decanter (20) between an infusion position in which the filter basket (40) is submerged in the liquid and coupled with the drive shaft (3a, 3b) and a draining position in which the filter basket (40) is arranged above the level of the liquid, the decanter (20) comprising a top opening (23) and a lid (60) that is movable between a closed position in which the lid (60) covers the top opening (23) and an open position in which the lid (60) is separated from the top opening (23). According to the invention, the filter basket (40) is connected to the lid (60) by a coupling device (55, 69), such that the filter basket (40) is in the infusion position when the lid (60) is in the closed position and the filter basket (40) is in the draining position when the lid (60) is in the open position, the open position of the lid (60) being a stable position.
