Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to a Itolizumab antibody or a functional fragment thereof for use in the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in a subject having an increased number of T helper 17 (Thl7) cells when compared to a healthy subject, wherein the use suppresses the production of the cytokine receptor IL-23R, thereby decreasing inflammation mediated by Thl7 cells.
