Zusammenfassung:An insertion tool (100) is provided for an engine (10) defining an access opening and including a component defining at least in part a cavity. The insertion tool (100) includes: an insertion tool arm (101) having a plurality of segments (102), the insertion tool arm (101) configured for insertion through the access opening into the cavity and the plurality of segments (102) configured to be in a fixed position relative to one another within the cavity; and a base (102) coupled to the insertion tool arm (101) and configured to be positioned outside the cavity and to move the insertion tool arm (101) along at least two degrees of freedom.
