Zusammenfassung:A system for determining an indication of a volume of a material in a tank of an air seeder commodity cart is disclosed. The system comprising: a sensor (314) positioned in the tank (208) such that the sensor (314) will be under the material when the tank (208) is full, the sensor (314) being configured to detect an attribute of a limited amount of the material above the sensor (314), the sensor (314) also generating an output signal indicative of the attribute of the limited amount of the material above the sensor (314); and a controller (402) receiving the output signal and incorporating a corresponding variable into a programmatic calculation of the indication of the volume of the material in the tank (208). Furthermore, a method of measuring a quantity of material in a tank of an air seeder commodity cart is disclosed.
