Zusammenfassung:The present invention concerns an analytical module for purge & trap preconcentration and (gas-)chromatography separation of a sample, made entirely from MEMS components. The two analytical MEMS (preconcentrator and GC column) are interconnected by a micro-fluidle manifold, also achieved in MEMS technology. The micro-fluidic manifold, besides interconnecting the two analytical MEMS, integrates the micro-valves that implement the analytical cycle. The invention, suitably modified, may also be used to construct GCxGC systems.
