Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns a stop device (1) for stopping and lifting an object (2) relative to a conveying support (3). This device comprises a lever (4) forming a stop that can be moved between a standby position (6) and a stop position (7), lifting means (8) for lifting the object, actuated by drive means (9) connected with the lever, the lifting means (8) being able to move between an inoperative position (10) and a lifting position (11) for lifting the object and vice versa, control means (12) for controlling the movement of the lever between the stop position and a retracted inactive position (13), the drive means being defined to bring the lifting means to the lifting position when the lever is moved to the stop position, the control means cooperating with complementary means (14) for pushing the lever from its retracted position to its standby position.
