The edge SSD device (105) includes a data processor (125) configured to aggregate data received from remote sensor devices (205a-205n) using the wireless transceivers (190, 195, 198) into aggregated data (225). The data processor (125) may process and/or filter the aggregated data (225) into processed and/or filtered data (230), and may cause the aggregated data (225) to be stored by the one or more memory controllers (120) to the volatile memory circuits (115). The data processor (125) may cause the processed and/or filtered data (230) to be transmitted using the wireless transceivers (190, 195, 198).
