Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to functionalized single stranded oligonucleotides and in particular to a method for producing functionalized single stranded oligonucleotides comprising: (a) providing a circular DNA molecule comprising an oligonucleotide sequence bordered by cleavage domains; (b) performing a rolling circle amplification (RCA) reaction with the circular DNA molecule of (a) as a template and one or more functionalized nucleotides (dNTPs); and (c) enzymatically cleaving the product of the RCA reaction at the cleavage domains to release the single stranded functionalized oligonucleotides.
