Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a protection device (1) that equips a vehicle (2) comprising a structure (3) delimiting a rear space (4) and a front space (5) comprising at least one seat. This device (1) comprises a main protection grating (6) secured to the structure (3) transversely behind the seat, at the interface between the rear (4) and front (5) spaces. This main protection grating (6) is installed in a position inclined towards the rear of the vehicle (2) relative to the vertical direction of the vehicle (2), in order to reduce the energy to be absorbed in the event of a collision between an object, accommodated in the rear space (4), and the main protection grating (6).
