Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device (10) for detecting particles (24) in a region (40) carrying fluid (36) using the principle of laser-induced incandescence, wherein the device (10) comprises: a laser source (12), an apparatus (27) for generating a laser light spot (22) in the region (40) carrying fluid, and a detector (32) for detecting thermal radiation (26) emitted by a particle (24) located in the laser light spot (22). According to the invention, the device (10) comprises at least one first fibre optic light guide (48) and at least one second fibre optic light guide (50), wherein the first fibre optic light guide (48) is disposed between the laser source (12) and the laser light spot (22) such that said light guide guides the laser light (14), at least in portions, and wherein the second fibre optic light guide (50) is disposed between the laser light spot (22) and the detector (32) such that it guides the thermal radiation (26), at least in portions. |
