Zusammenfassung:	A connector for connecting two fluid-conducting elements, in particular for connecting two motor vehicle tubes, with a female plug-in part and a male plug-in part that can be plugged into the female plug-in part. A retainer is connected to the female plug-in part, with which the male plug-in part can be fixed to the female plug-in part. In the unfixed state of the male plug-in part, the retainer is blocked by a verification sleeve provided in the female plug-in part. When the male plug-in part is inserted into the female plug-in part, the verification sleeve is displaced axially in the insertion direction. This releases the retainer and fixes the male plug-in part to the female plug-in part.
