The invention relates to a cooking appliance (1) for performing a cooking preparation, comprising a body (2) provided with a cooking chamber (6) and a food receiving container (9) removably placed in the cooking chamber. The container comprises a bottom (17) having an opening (18) arranged for passage of a drive nut (16) for driving rotation of a removable kitchen appliance (20) arranged in the receiving container. The body comprises an electric device (15) arranged to drive the drive nut in rotation. The appliance (1) comprises means (24) for moving the drive nut (16) between a disengaged position, in which the drive nut is retracted from the opening (18) and the kitchen appliance (20) when the kitchen appliance (20) is disposed in the container, and an engaged position, in which the drive nut (16) is engaged with the kitchen appliance (20) when the kitchen appliance (20) is disposed in the container (9).
