The extractor hood has a control unit (8) which is configured to receive and evaluate a signal from the at least one sensor (4, 5) and to control the at least one setting component (6, 7, 9) of the extractor hood (2). The extractor hood also has a communication interface (10) via which data can be transmitted from the control unit (8) and/or to the control unit (8).
