Zusammenfassung:Provided are a terminal protection device (10) and a battery module. The terminal protection device (10) comprises a base (100) having a bottom portion (110) and side plates (120) connected to peripheral sides of the bottom portion (110), wherein the side plates (120) and the bottom portion (110) together form an accommodation cavity (130), and an input port (121) is in communication with the accommodation cavity (130); each of the side plates (120) is provided with an input port (121), through which an output electrode (60) passes; each of the side plates (120) is further provided with a connection port (122), the connection port (122) is in communication with the accommodation cavity (130) such that an external electric connector (50) can pass through the connection port (122) and be connected to the output electrode (60); and a protection plate (140) is provided at the connection port (122), and the protection plate (140) detachably covers the connection port (122). When the terminal protection device (10) is applied to a battery module, during the transporting of the battery module, the protection plate (140) can cover the connection port (122), so as to prevent the output electrode (60) in the accommodation cavity (130) from being electrically connected to the outside and causing an electrical leakage accident, thereby improving the safety performance of the battery module during transportation. The protection plate (140) is detachably arranged at the connection port (122), such that when the protection plate (140) is detached, there is no structural damage to the other parts of the terminal protection device (10), thereby improving the service life of the terminal protection device (10).
